The new temporary City of Science and Industry exhibition is challenging the conventional ideas of the Gauls.
The exhibition is a journey split in five sequences highly differentiated where the museography & scenography atmosphere offers several postures to the visitor: accomplice, investigator, discoverer, and spectator.
Designers, producers, artists, illustrators and scientists combine their talents to highlight the content and allow visitors to capture the full richness of Gallic societies.
As the City of Science’s audiovisual provider, Soft conducted the study and deployment of all exhibition audiovisual equipment including many devices such as panoramic projection immersing visitors in a fiction taking place in "our ancestors the Gauls" lifestyle. This is a playful presentation through a Gallic fiction featuring members of a family.
For this panoramic projection, Soft has created an image of 8m (3600 pixels x 1200 pixels), deployed a general sound system "5.1", all coupled to an audio guide system. This device works continuously for the duration of the exhibition, and plays an alternately subtitled French-English and subtitled French-Italian.
In detail: Panasonic Full HD high-end projectors 6000 lumens, Watchout system for delivering digital video streams with 1920 x 1200 for video projectors, sound system including a 5.1 Lab Gruppen amplification and Tannoy V6 speakers series...
Other devices dot the scenic route and aim is to create the atmosphere of an archaeological site.
